Description
L: 11.5cm; W:20-23cm;
Bird with a yellowish back, tinged with brown; white belly, streaked; yellow rump; wide and short bill; yellow throat and forehead in males, striped in females. Males with yellow forehead, throat and chest and no stripes; breeding male is very yellow; females have a striped forehead, greenish-white throat and chest with yellowish tints. Juveniles are very brown and mottled.
