Description

L: 14-15cm; W:23-25.5cm;

Species with greyish-brown upperparts and pale underparts; finely striated on the neck, flanks, and chest; On the head, the forehead and finely striated brown crown stand out; wings and brown tail. Black bill, long and robust, short legs also black. Big black eye. Both sexes are similar in appearance. The young show the typical mottling of other Muscicapidae species.
