Description
L: 14cm; W:18-23cm
Inconspicuous bird with a brown back and pale underparts, whiter on the throat; covert feathers, tertials and secondaries black with reddish-brown edging; brown tail, with the outer feathers partly white; pale brown bill and legs. Breeding male with a greyish head; non-breeding male, female and juveniles with brown heads.
