Description

L: 20-22cm; W:33-36cm; Brown above; cream-coloured chest strongly streaked with chestnut spots and whitish belly; chestnut-coloured undercovert feathers, characterized by inverted heart-shaped mottling. Both sexes are similar in plumage. Juveniles are more ochraceous than adults, with a more yellowish appearance; new plumage.
