Description
L: 17cm W: 29-38cm.
Brown plumage similar to the Thekla lark, although with a larger wingspan; it has a crest and eyebrow on its head; ochre outer tail feathers; and diffusely striated chest; grey uppertail coverts and reddish undercovert feathers. Similar plumage in both sexes. Juvenile feathers have whitish rims.
