Description

L: 9- 10.5cm; W:13-17cm.

Small brown bird, with a plump body and tail erect towards the back; back with transverse barring; ocher underparts; short barred tail. Long, thin, slightly curved bill. Both sexes are similar. Juveniles are similar to adults but have less contrasting and fluffier plumage, with new feathers.
