Description
L: 13cm; W:17-21cm;
Typical reedbed bird with elongated head and long, thin beak. It has brown plumage on the back, with a reddish rump and ochraceous white underparts, a whitish throat and a brown tail; beige axillae and light brown legs; with bristles at the corner of the mouth. As summer progresses, adults take on a more whitish overall underneath. It does not present sexual dimorphism. Juveniles are more reddish above and with more ocher flanks.
