Description
L: 12 – 14cm; W:22-27cm;
Bird that has a bluish-grey colour on the upper part, on the lower part it has an ocher belly and chest and a white throat. Head with a black band from bill to neck; grey bill, brown legs. It presents a peculiar movement when it moves along the trunks, frequently spotted upside down. Male and female are similar, but the male has chestnut colour on the flanks and cloaca, the young are similar to the adults but have less vivid colours on the body and head.
