Description

L: 24cm; W:45 cm;

Medium-sized bird, with a strong beak and striking colours, especially in males, which have a golden body and black wings and tail. The female and the juveniles are similar; olive-green upperparts and finely ribbed grey underparts; brown wing and tail; adults pink beak and reddish eye.
