Description
L: 12cm; W:20-23cm;
Bird that presents a marked sexual dimorphism. Male with yellowish-green back, striped black; yellowish underparts and striated flanks; yellow rump; black crown and throat. Female darker brown; it lacks a black crown and throat and has a greenish-yellow rump. In flight, the yellow of the wing bands, rump and base of the tail stands out.
