Descripción
L: 37-43cm; W: 81-96cm;
Back gray or reddish, with dark streaks; light underparts streaked with dark; reddish-brown, vermiculated flight feathers; head with complete gray facial discs and no “ears”; bill greenish yellow; black eyes. Both sexes have similar plumage. Male slightly smaller than female. Juveniles: Similar to adults but have some white down on head and poorly marked facial pattern.
