Description
L: 12.5cm; W:16-18cm;
Birds with chestnut-coloured backs in adults and brownish-pink underparts; long brown tail, ocher wings with dark and white spots. Males have a grey head and an unmistakable moustachial stripe. Females lack a moustachial stripe and do not have black in the vent area. Juveniles have a dark back; Juvenile males have an orange bill and a very brownish-black mask; juvenile females have a greyish bill and a less marked mask.
