Description
L: 21-22cm, W:57cm.
It shows greyish-brown colouration on the back, white underparts, and pectoral band brownish-grey. Silhouette in the shape of a crossbow, with long and pointed wings, tail more forked than in Commons; very short legs and feet with toes pointed forward, prevents them from perching on floors and cables; short, flat bill with a very wide mouth. Both sexes are identic. Its entire life cycle can be developed in flight, except for nesting. Fast and acrobatic flight
