Description
L: 22-28cm; W: 38-45cm;
A habitual inhabitant of humid areas, with colorful plumage, it has a reddish-brown back, streaked with dark; slate gray throat and breast; abdomen gray streaked with white; dark back with light streaking; white tail coverts with reddish lateral spots; bill elongated and reddish, dark at the base. Lighter colored juveniles; light eyebrow; whitish underparts spotted brown; brown beak.
