Almost completely white plumage, with ocher spots on the hood, chest and back during the breeding season, which fade in winter; orange legs, beak and eyes during the breeding season, dark green legs and yellow beak and eyes the rest of the year; sexes with similar plumage. Pure white juveniles without spots and dark legs
