Description

L: 39-46cm; W: 102-116cm;

Adult male with gray head and back; gray underparts on chest and white on rest; black primaries and a black band on secondaries; gray tail; gray rump. Adult female with dark brown back; light brown underparts streaked with dark; rump white, poorly defined; wings and tail barred dark. Juvenile like female, but reddish underparts, unstreaked.
