Description
L: 15cm; W:20-25 cm;
The largest of the Iberian warblers. The male has a black mask, forehead and crown, and a white throat; highlights the whitish iris; back grey-brown, smooth; wings and tail dark, edged with white; white underparts, with pink tinges; dark legs. The female like the male, with a gray-brown hood and a chest with brownish tones. Juveniles: with fresh plumage, brown iris and dark brown crown.
